SYNOPSIS: Finley meets a charming heartthrob while on a semester abroad in Ireland.
MY TAKE: The movie tried to be charming but was kinda cliché and cheesy. There were some scenes so cheesy that they were awkwardly funny. The scenery was wonderful though, making you want to visit the Irish coast. It was also nice to see Vanessa Redgrave onscreen even though she was only part of one of several subplots. The trailers were wrong – this was NOT the Notting Hill for today’s generation, though younger audience members may still like the movie.
